Our First week in Minne!

First off I am soo sorry that I have neglegted this blog. I have had all the time in the world but have been feeling like I have nothing to post about since I haven't been taking any pictures!

We love it here in Minnesota!! It's BEAUTIFUL!! and within the last week its gotten really humid and we love the humidity!!

I guess I should start out with the drive out here. IT WAS A WILD RIDE!!!

We left St. George on a monday night at midnight? Who's idea that was I don't remember but it was a stupid one. We made it SLC that night at about 3:30 AM and We were so tired! I woke up early to see my mom before she left for work. Once Brady woke up we drove back down to Provo because he had to stop at the Pinnacle building and license the guys that were driving out with us. I went over to my brothers house while he did that and hung out with my sis in law and my 3 cute nephews! Some how my sister in law talked me into going to an ultrasound place to find out what we are having. So my mom got off work early and we(my whole fam) ran over to this place and found out that we are having a precious little girl! It was so fun to be with my mom and sister and of course Brady to find out what the gender of my baby is! And I think that might be the cheapest place to find out what the gender is of your baby! We only paid $45 dollars! BEST $45 dollars I've ever spent!

We got on the road straight from the ultrasound place and begain our 19 hour drive!

Somewhere in the middle of Wyoming we ran into a really bad storm. We tried to keep driving through it but at Laramie the closed the I-80 so we had to spend the night at a hotel in Laramie untill the opened the I-80 back up. Let me just put this out there for the record, I HATE more then anything driving in snow. The last 30 miles before we got to Laramie was so bad that we couldn't go faster then 45 without slipping all over the road and of course Brady was driving and was kinda pushes the limits as far as how fast he could go with the snow... I started having an anxiety attack and couldn't stop bawling for the like 20 or so miles till we got to Laramie. I will be permanetly scarred!

So now it's Wednesday morning and we were hoping to making to atleast Lincoln Nebraska by tuesday night, so we were way behind schedule!! They didn't open the freeway untill 11 the next morning. We had about 13 hours left of driving to do and Brady was band to make it to our apt that night! So we left Laramie and the weather wasn't too bad untill we hit Lincoln, we stopped for gas and as we're checking the oil in our van and our car the sky turns green... (sidenote: it's raining really hard) Now if anyone has ever lived in a place that has tornados knows that a green sky means get inside cuz there is about to be a tornado! After living in Indiana and having a tornado less then 2 football feilds from your house we knew what was going on... So we hurried and got back on the road and got the heck out of there. Thank goodness no tornadoes touched down while we were there!

From this point on it was raining so hard that our windsheild wippers wouldn't go fast enough... and occasionally it would hail.

We finally arrived safely and in one piece at our destination at 2:30 in the morning. The boys that were driving our van were about an hour behind us so we stayed up and waited for then to make sure they found the apt they were going to sleep in! Not to mention we had to unpack most of our stuff so we could put sheets on our bed and find some clean clothes!

So over all we drove through these states, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa, and then into Minnesota!

The next day Brady went out and sold. He finished out that week with 5 sales in 3 days so he did AWESOME! He was soo excited to get out here and start selling! That saturday night we went to dinner with our friends at my fav place ever PF Changs! The next day we went to our new ward out here and it was really good! After church everyone got together for a BBQ and we had a BLAST!

This week was pretty uneventful. I started and finished the book The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks. I bawled my eyes out and poor Brady didn't get dinner make for him for 2 nights thanks to that book!

Brady didn't have to go selling till 1 on friday so we went to lunch together which was super fun! I love getting to spent time with him during the day doing something fun because usually he's gone to work before I'm even showered for the day! That night we went to dinner with a bunch of the couples from out here in the office. It was so fun! We have a really fun group of people out here with us. The next day Brady left early in the morning to go out and sale but it was raining really hard so he didn't really even get to knock a single door before lunch. He came home for lunch and was so frustrated that he was just gonna call it a day. But we decided to say a little prayer and have him go back out and try to get atleast one sell for the day. After we said the prayer he felt much better and went out and work his bum off and got 2 for the day!! So this week he got 5 sale and sold everyday so it was a little bit slower this week then last week was!
Before Brady got home I decided that I was going to surprise him and get all dressed up and make reservations at pf changs (again) He got home a little later then planned because he got into a sale at 9 and he was selling about 30 minutes away from home but lucky pf changs was still open and we had such a good time just the two of us!
The next day, sunday, we went to church and then had another BBQ. I think it's becoming a sunday tradition! It was way humid so everyone didn't stay out as long as the sunday before! It was still a good time tho!
After the BBQ my brother and his wife that are out here selling with us took us for a tour of the city! It is a beautiful city! We stopped at the national cemetary. It's where all the millitary is burried. It looks alot like arlington cemetary. Just millions of white head stones for as far as the eye can see!! It was pretty amazing!! it made me really grateful for all the people that serve in the Millitary to protect us! At the top of the cemetary is the runway for the airport and we walked up there and watched the planes leave and come for awhile. It was really cool!

Overall We are really enjoying our time here!!

Pregnancy update:

I have been feeling pretty good! I tried not taking my zofran before bed on night and the next day I was sicker then I've felt in a long time. That was the first time I've thrown up in about a month now!

My belly in moving! It's getting a little bit higher now.

I am feeling this little girl move!! Her little movements are getting stronger all the time! Funny story. On friday night we were out to dinner with all of the couples. I was just sitting there waiting for my dinner and all of a sudden I felt a way strong kick! It startled me so bad that I jumped! It was the first really strong kick that I've felt!

I still have a hard time sleeping. I wake up almost every night at 3 and can't breathe out of my nose at all. (sidenote: I can't sleep unless I'm breathing through my nose) So I asked my doctor what was ok to take and he said sudafed was ok to take... I still kind of worry about taking stuff like that. But the last 2 nights I've taken it and been able to go back to sleep alot faster then if I hadn't taken it!

Brady felt the baby moving on friday night. He has been so cute about having a girl!! He's soo thrilled! I love it! We have been think alot about names and havent been able to decide on one... We will let everyone know when we decide on one!

We both can't wait for her to get here! Every baby we see we just get all giddy! I'm planning on taking a picture of my belly at 20 weeks and I'll post that!! So a few more weeks and you'll get to see this chubby looking thing!
