My heart is so happy today! Today was Milly's first day of Dance! I always wished I had kept up with dance but I hated wearing tights! (Funny, I still do!) I love watching dance! When we found out we were having a girl (Milly) my first thought was, I really hope she wants to be a dancer! And Milly has always loved to run around and dance whenever music is on! I have been itching to get her into a class and I had been waiting for when I felt like she was ready! As a parent I never want to push my kids into anything they don't want to do because it was some I dreamt of doing! I had asked around town and found a great place to take her to and they have a fun class for 2 yr olds! So I signed her up thinking I will give it 2 chances, if she screams and cries more then 2 times then I'll take her out! As always, Milly proved me wrong! They opened the door and her teacher told her to come in and away she went! Didn't even look back! I told her to take her shoes off and listen to her teach and she says back "I know, ok!" Haha so Milly! I watched from outside and she instantly was having the BEST TIME and had the BIGGEST smile on her face the whole time! They got babies out and danced with the babies and then did dress ups! The whole time she followed her teacher, Miss Sheila, and did exact what she did! At the end they did a little tea party with crackers and water! Milly has a tea party almost every night in the bath tub so she just ate this up! She got a ballerina stamp on her hand! When she showed it to grandma she said "no grandma, don't touch!" (Very protective!) haha
When the tea party was over she did not want to leave! She kept saying "mom, I wanna dance!" And would run around the room dancing! Finally I got her to leave. Miss Sheila said to me, "looks like we will be seeing you around for years to come!" I sure hope so!

That is just adorable! I have wanted to get Evelyn into some sort of dance class in a little while! Looks like SO much fun!! All these new, fun things seem so bitter sweet to me! So fun to watch them grow up but at the same time, where did my baby go?! Ha ha Milly is adorable!! Fun stuff!
