Milly says...

Tonight I had a very sweet moment with Milly as I was rocking her to sleep. I asked her if she knew that mommy loved her? She said "yes mommy, too ma" (too is her way of saying I love you too)
I asked her if she knew she was a beautiful little girl, she answered yes.
I continued to ask her if she knew she was a good girl, and that she is very loved by mommy and daddy and Heavenly Father and Jesus. To each question I asked her she replied with "yes"
I asked her if she wanted to say a prayer with mommy and again she answered yes. So I continued to hold her while we said a prayer together, in the middle of the prayer she put her little hand on my arm. I couldn't help but wonder if she was able to feel the spirit the way I was. I love this sweet spirit I have living in my home that I get to take care of! I am thankful for experiences like this one! I feel like its Heavenly Fathers way of re-confirming to me that what I am doing, as Milly's mother, is very important and that there is no other job that is as important as being a Mother.

Milly says...

Milly has had Croup for the last 6 days so we have been keeping her inside the house as much as possible!
I can't remember when she said this but a couple days ago she was playing with one of the Book of Mormons we have in our house and she sat down and told me to "sit lap pease" which means she wants me to sit on her lap! I pretended to sit on her lap and she tried to wrap her arms around me but me being 25 wks pregnant I'm starting to have a pretty big belly. She could barely get her hands around my sides So she pushed me away and said "move pease" (very polite huh) she then grabbed her Book of Mormon and started flipping through the pages pretending to read she kept repeating what sounded like "powerful" and "lady" and then she showed me a picture of the prophet Joseph Smith, pointed to it and said "Jesus Christ"

Later that day we sat down for a tea party and some "dinners"
She sat down at her table and folded her arms and squeezed her eyes shut and said a little prayer. This is what her prayer said
"Heavenly father, day (thank you for this day), daddy Brady, mommy, daddy Brady, amen"


Lately she has been calling Brady Daddy Hiatt or if she really wants to be serious with him she will call him Brady Hiatt! She still calls me "She-rah" it has become my new nickname with Brady.

Milly says...

Last night I was putting on Milly's jacket to go outside and she put her little hand on my cheek and had the cutest conversation with me!
M:"you ok ma"
Me: "yeah I'm fine Milly"
With her hand on my cheek she then starts to tickle my face and smile at me
M: "you so pretty ma"
Me: "I love you"
M:"to ma SO MUCH!!" (Which means I love you too ma so much!)

Yesterday at breakfast Milly told me "mousey says "mousey mousey mousey" and daddy says "mousey mousey daddy"

She recently has started calling me Sarah. She says it "she-rah" and she will debate with anyone all day when you tell her mommies name is mommy not Sarah.

Milly says and does

Last night while Brady was putting Milly to bed she started playing with her shadow. She gave it a "high five" then she gave it a kiss and a hug. And then another kiss!
